Health Tip: Help Prevent Obesity

(HealthDay News) — Obesity can develop as a result of poor eating habits, inactivity or genetics.

To help prevent obesity, the URMC suggests:

  1. Work to change your family’s eating habits and activity levels.

  2. Be a role model for healthy eating and physical activity.

  3. Limit screen time to less than two hours per day.

  4. Keep the pantry stocked with healthier snacks.
