Health Tip: Causes of Lightheadedness

(HealthDay News) — Feeling woozy or lightheaded is often rooted in a simple cause, says Harvard Medical School.

Common reasons for faintness include:

  1. Dehydration.

  2. Medication side effects.

  3. Sudden drop in blood pressure.

  4. Low blood sugar.

At its most serious, faintness could be a sign of heart attack or stroke. If you suspect you’re having a heart attack or stroke, seek immediate medical attention.
