The academy mentions healthier ways to gain weight:
Add healthier calories to your diet by eating nuts, seeds and cheeses.
Eat high-protein meats.
Enjoy snacks that contain protein and healthier carbohydrates.
Eat small meals throughout the day.
Perform strength training exercises.
Before starting a weight gain program, speak with your doctor.
